Im gonna be kinda corny on this tumblr-versary. So corny, in fact, that I will be reblogging myself (a year later). Some of it is a reminder of one of the reasons I came here, and some are just a growth chart. Y’know one of my first posts was about a heat game, and another was about college app stress. look at me now….
- I made that happen(I’ll never believe how it happened, but I’m glad it did)
Kinda strange how, as I was typing and planning how I’d spill part of myself out on this great social media platform…someone else was planning on how’d they spill part of themselves out to people they’d never met or knew would devote themselves to another’s art….
On this day, I also made a youtube account, so unnecessary , or so it seemed. Cause I had been captivated by this art….art that was as deep as my unwillingness to join the youtube community. It won me over. Plus, it didn’t hurt that I could use it as poetry to decipher and hone my AP English skills. Countless hours pouring over that art, happily spent hours being enthralled by melodic notes that caressed my ears…I let the music open my eyes in a way. I’m thankful for having that change of heart.
And I’m also thankful for my followers. Everyone of you are appreciated and I’m glad to know that my corner of tumblr reaches someone. Sending good vibes on the eve of 2013!

It was my fault really, but I wouldnt have been able to meet up with friends anyway. Eminem’s album was the first I bought of his back in 2002 when 8 Mile was still hype. CO was the last one there….meaning it was meant to be. (Yes Im buying more copies later) I feel left out. I know we may lose to the thinly veiled racist school, but it would have been nice to be there.
I tried to be a good roommate and bought her bubbles as a reminder of childhood, I’ll tell you how it goes…
Adele is up first (i listened to the album back in Feb. and it was appreciated)
I still think about dude sometimes, not enough to lose track…
Ummm….I almost bought Jimi and Sam Cooke, and Sinatra as well as Jackson 5 Christmas, but maybe next time. Too much worry, not enough planning and executing of my ambition.

Something I’ve seen people do
Oct 16 was a day of amahzing -ness. Yes, I bailed out on a math quiz but I do think I will drop the class. No, I did not see my friend at BarryU, however, I met some influential people who I may come to enjoy.
We started out from Bio, and I am told that a friend has to go visit at another campus, since we both have friends there, why not? I see, coming from the Library, the Larry O’brien trophy—-all gilded and shimmery in the sunlight….. It was being posed with and I knew, I had to get a pic of it somehow. On the way home, I also saw a truck selling presumably expensive heat memorabilia.They said I spent the most that day! ($30)So, I had to buy something while effectively breaking a large bill. I plan to meet my friend after I accomplish the previous goals. It was a time crunch honestly….but I got my picand got a keychain (the day after I ordered an OF one) and I bounced, knowing I left my phone at the dorm to charge, if I had missed my ticket off-campus for the day, at least I had a picture with the same trophy LeBron clutched like it was his own child.
President Obama came to my school today!
it was pretty hush hush, unless you noticed parking lots and certain placement of police cars. Amazing how I keep getting reminded that I chose the right school…
September Musing
Look how far it’s been….
- Dude’s number is in my phone (thanks to this week ;). I just want to figure him out, tho. But why do I get all….socially inept?? I gotta get my skills back- reclaim the charisma-
- Im so excited for tonight!! **cues chorus to “Make Me Proud”** And the Grammy’s OMGOMGOMGHis persona just energizes my ambition, it’s really weird. OF is tied to my generational narrative, Im sure of it… I really need to figure out how to watch SNL tonight.
- Im not homesick, probably because I have distractions. I found friends kinda fast and hopefully they’re down. I just get hermit-like from time to time. My first home game is tomorrow!!!!Im just gonna be in awe of it all.
